Cult of the Lamb

Cult of the Lamb DLC Achievements Walkthrough Guide

If you’re looking to earn all of the Relics of the Old Faith achievements, you’ve come to the right place. Please note that this guide is a work in progress, so your patience and understanding are appreciated. My goal is to assist you in any way I can.

Slayer of Souls

Complete a row in Purgatory.

This one is actually very simple. You have to unlock the Purgatory Mode and complete a FULL run with one of the cloaks (that being said, you need to repeat until you kill The One Who Waits. This is an example of a completed Purgatory run:

Shake Down

Get your Gold back from Midas.

This is a tricky one, I haven’t found any content of someone that did it consistently. But all we know at the moment is that you need to encounter Midas on the Crusades, starting with Darkwood. It will look like this:

He will punch you and steal 60% of your money. You need to encounter him more times (3? in different areas, for example, Darkwood, Anchordeep, and Silk Cradle) until he steals from you and doesn’t leave the room, that way you can punch him back and get your money back. Some say the final encounter is on Silk Cradle. This should pop the achievement.

Relics of the Old Faith

Collect all Relics.

There are 37 Relics available. Unfortunately, most of the drops are random, you’ll find it naturally going on Crusades. For the rest of them, you can follow these steps.

  1. Update all your Relic-specific stats on the Temple (by doing daily Sermons).
  2. Complete the special requests Leshy, Heket, Kallamar, and Shamura will give to you once they become your followers (it always takes a few moments for it to pop up).
  3. Buy all the Relics available at Lonely Shack, Pilgrim’s Passage, Spore Grotto, Smuggler’s Sanctuary, and Midas’s Cave.
  4. Two of them are obtainable completing the True Love Found quest.
  5. The last one is probably given to you by Midas (we still have little information on this one, I’m sorry).

Leader of Leaders

Indoctrinate all five Bishops into your Cult.

WARNING! SPOILERS AHEAD.

PROBABLY MISSABLE. In the end game, a creature named ??? will appear and say you have to fight the Bishops again. After completing each Crusade, the respective bishop will end up as your follower. PS: This only works if you have The One Who Waits as a member of your cult previously.

Leshy
Can be acquired after defeating him on Darkwood. You can only have him as your follower in the Postgame (after ??? appears).

Heket
Can be acquired after defeating him on Anura. You can only have him as your follower in the Postgame (after ??? appears).

Kallamar
Can be acquired after defeating him on Anchordeep. You can only have him as your follower in the Postgame (after ??? appears).

Shamura
Can be acquired after defeating him on Silk Cradle. You can only have him as your follower in the Postgame (after ??? appears).

TheOneWhoWaits
You can have him as your follower once you DEFEAT him in any difficult

True Love Found

Reunite Aym and Baal with Forneus.

WARNING! SPOILERS AHEAD!

After meeting with ???, you’ll need to collect God Tears completing runs on Purgatory mode (or if you have everything unlocked the game will give you one every time you fill-up the Divine Inspiration).

You’ll need the Light Necklace and Dark Necklace to proceed. It was given to you by ??? when you trade Gods Tears for spins (this is random, so it might take a while). IMPORTANT! You can only have it once per save, so be sure you don’t give it to a follower that’s about to die.

Light Necklace

Dark Necklace

After getting the necklaces, you’ll need to give them to two of your followers and perform a Sacrifice of the Flesh on the Temple, making Baal and Aym come back to life.

The next step is to turn them into demons using a Demonic Summoning Circle II, so they can follow you in your next crusade.

The mission here is to find Forneus’ Shop (it will have an exclamation point on it) and watch the cutscene.
