Destiny 2

Destiny 2 Crossplay Beta Starts on Tuesday, May 25th

Destiny 2 will test cross-platform beta next week. Between May 25th and 27th, users will be able to enter the Vanguard Strikes of Beta Between Platforms and play only this specific mode with friends from other devices. Developer Bungie said that crossplay should be officially released in Season 15 of the game.

The crossplay of Destiny 2 was activated by accident for a few days after the release of the Season of the Symbiote. At the time, the producer explained that the mode was released due to a bug, but it served to see that the feature was working without too many problems.

During official beta testing, players who complete three missions on the Vanguard Strike list of Beta Cross-Platform Strike will receive a unique badge. This item will be exclusive and should not be returned to the game store in the future.

The Destiny 2 crossplay beta will take place on all platforms where the game is available: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PC, and Stadia.

It is worth mentioning that it will not be possible to form squads or invite friends to enter game modes that are not in the Vanguard Strike of the Beta between platforms playlist.

Destiny 2 Season 15 Release Date

Season 15 has yet to start on Destiny 2. The seasons usually last about 100 days – that is, the Simbionte Season, which premiered on May 11, should end in mid-August this year.

In the current season, Destiny 2 received the Crystal Chamber raid, originally launched in the first title of the franchise. In addition, the game won a transmog system called Armor Synthesis, in which the player can apply the appearance of equipment to another item without losing its attributes.
