This guide will be covering the steps on how you can solve the canteen riddle in Edna & Harvey: The Breakout. If you’re one of the players having a hard time solving the puzzle, this guide is for you.

Edna & Harvey: The Breakout Canteen Riddle Guide
Canteen Section
After releasing the key master from his cell, Edna will get the instruction to find a vehicle. That isn’t that hard but said found vehicle needs a bit of tempering. And we will need help from Hoti & Moti, who is currently having lunch in the canteen. Our goal is to start a food fight, so they can skedaddle quietly.
The canteen is guarded, so Edna can’t just walk in. To enter, she has to go to the kitchen and sneak her way to the table Hoti & Moti sit at via a cart she can hide under. Hidden under the table she can talk to them about breaking out. Still, they both request that you have a plan before you continue.
This happens prior to the riddle this guide is for. After taking care of everything (getting the key master to the car, having Aluman recharge the battery, etc.) you can now tell Hoti and Moti that you have a plan.
Kitchen Section
Now that everything else is prepared, you have to swap the different dishes on the board. This is important for the diversion – a food fight.
- Peter receives the mocha pudding
- Hoti & Moti receive the mash
- Adrian receives the wheat bran dumplings
- Professor Nock receives the roast chicken
- The Beeman receives the potatoes
Every other order won’t work – I’ve tried. I want to point out that there are clues in my opinion, that lead to the right solution. One might be that if the Professor has a certain dish, his swinging feet stop Edna from getting all the way to the Beeman. Just an observation, us it as you wish.
Canteen Section
When you return to the table via the cart from the kitchen, you can simply use the fork on the Beeman’s feet, which will cause him to spill his food. Upset about this, Adrian hollers for the food fight we intended. Now Hoti & Moti will wait for Edna in the garage so that you can continue your breakout.
