Unlock all achievements (accolades) in Engaging Destiny, revealing its unique CG art content. Warning: Not spoiler-free.
Introduction
This guide to help everyone get all of the achievements, and, even better, unlock all of the steamy, beautifully drawn CG art!
- Guide based on game version 1.2.0.0.
- Not every CG is attached to an achievement, so those have separate sections. However, the achievements that do unlock a CG will mention which one.
- Some achievements are missable, especially those listed under the Galanor section. If you’re checking this guide before playing, perhaps that section will be worth reviewing. It’s the only spoiler-tagged section of the guide for this reason.
- If you want every achievement/CG, it is imperative that you obtain the underwear, the book, the apple, and the potato in Galanor before leaving, as you cannot return. More information on both Galanor sections.
- A small summary of where each accolade/scene is unlocked for the items listed above:
- Underwear = the first one in the Forest Clearing in the early game, the second one in Faranel, in the post-game;
- Book = Faranel, as soon as you get there;
- Potato = Faranel, as long as you’re doing the task;
- Apple = Faranel, in the post-game.
- Again, it’s crucial that you get the necessary items early on!

Galanor City
Underwear Thief
Took Warrick’s underwear from his room.
Before you leave your house, enter Warrick’s room, and pick up Warrick’s Underwear from the chest.
By Moonlight
The knight had no idea he was being watched.
Enter Warrick’s room and pick up his underwear from the chest. After you leave Galanor, while camping in the Forest Clearing, set up the tents but don’t start cooking, then head east to spy on Warrick. This unlocks both Spy On Warrick – With Underwear and Spy On Warrick – No Underwear CGs.
Still Juicy
Warrick got his apple!
Get the apple from Martha, the woman near the fruit cart, east of your house. Hold on to it until Warrick wakes up, then give it to him.
Spare Pair
Warrick has a spare pair of undies for the future.
After retrieving the fresh pair of underwear from the chest and exchanging it for the used underwear obtained during Warrick’s bath in the Forest Clearing, similar to the accolade mentioned above, keep it and return to him later.
Potato Connoisseur
Everyone appreciates the potato.
After leaving your house, enter the first house to the east. The potato is under the bed. Ensure you show it to everyone in Galanor before proceeding to your knighting ceremony (talk to each person twice), and continue showing it to everyone you meet. A list of where to find everyone can be found at the end of this guide.
Galanor City – Extra CGs
Scene: Calen Reads To Warrick
Before leaving the house, pick up ‘The Wrath of Rast’ from the bookshelf. After Warrick is wounded and you reach Arakarn’s house, you can enter your shared bedroom and read it to him.
Faranel Extra CGs
Scene: Spy On Shale
Every other night, Shale patrols the forest. If he’s in Central Faranel, sleep until night again. If he’s not, take the first entrance south in the forest to reach Southern Verdure Forest and spy on him.
Faranel (story-related)
Completing these achievements is essential to finish the game. It’s impossible to miss.
Ding Removal
Warrick’s armor looks as good as new!
After talking to Garret, retrieve the armor from the closet near Warrick’s bed and deliver it to the blacksmith. Once Garret returns it to you, put it back in the closet. Ensure this is completed before Warrick is healed, as this one is missable!
Forest Ranger
The wandering echinafew was delivered to Arakarn!
Enter the forest, head west until the end, then take the southern entrance when you reach a wall. Continue heading west to locate the Wandering Echinafew. Afterwards, give it to Arakarn. This unlocks the Flashback – Making Flower Crowns CG. Note: As the name suggests, it’s a wandering plant, so sometimes it spawns elsewhere. The spot above is the place where I found it on all of my playthroughs. If you still can’t find it, leaving the forest resets its spawn location.
Runemaster
Pillar puzzles proved to be no challenge.
This puzzle is situated within the poisonous cave and is essential for acquiring the cave mushroom. To enter the cave, you’ll require red thistle tea, obtained by speaking to Dyne again after your introduction, and a light ring, which you can get by talking to the shopkeeper. Approach the poison gas with the tea in hand, head east until you find a pair of ladders. Descend and collect the runestone at the very bottom. While needed to proceed, this runestone is not used to complete the puzzle. Return, climb both sets of ladders, place the runestone, and continue east until you locate an accessible door. From this point, it becomes a puzzle involving transporting runestones to unlock additional passages. Solve the puzzle until you discover three uniquely numbered runestones, then backtrack west until you find three pillars where you can position them. For a visual solution, refer to the video below.
Spelunker
The cave mushroom was delivered to Arakarn!
After solving the rune puzzle, enter the newly opened hole. The mushroom will be to the east from there. Return it to Arakarn to unlock the CG for Flashback – Foraging with Warrick.
Locksmith
Dulft won’t be punished by Garret now.
East of the bathhouse, find a pickaxe and climb the mountain. Enter the door, locate a locked deer asking for a key. Descend, talk to a person near a cart, and climb back up the western portion to find a glowing spot. Use the pickaxe to free the key. Descend to discover the mine cart missing. Head east to find brothers; the key is in a box below them. After it’s stolen, talk to a nearby man. Climb back up, find a shiny rock near another miner, and use it near the hole where the key thief hid. Return to the deer and turn in the key.
Mountain Climber
The pure spring water was delivered to Arakarn!
Ask Garret for a means to get a sterile bottle, he’ll craft you one after a while. After freeing up the deer inside the mines and getting the bottle back from Garret, climb up Flame Peaks and gather some water from the spring. Give it to Arakarn. This unlocks the Flashback – Taking The High Road CG.
Alchemist
All of the potion ingredients were delivered to Arakarn!
Obtained after completing Forest Ranger, Spelunker and Mountain Climber.
Claimed
Warrick made his claim.
After confessing your feelings to Warrick, a guard will inform you that the bandits who attacked you were apprehended. Retrieve the lockbox for Garret to open, then show the poison vial to Arakarn and the parchment to Kalcephalos. Upon returning to Arakarn’s place, a guard will share information about an encounter with a messenger. Head to the ladder right next to the bathhouse to walk into his trap. This action unlocks the CG for Mountaintop Confession. Talk to Warrick in bed to unlock the CG for Warrick’s Late-Night Conversation. Climb up to the mountaintop and interact with the view. Upon returning to Warrick, choose the newly-opened option to unlock the CG for Warrick Claims Calen.
Engaging Destiny
Left Faranel for Dragon’s Roost.
Retrieve your sword from the shopkeeper and inform Warrick that you’re prepared to depart. Attention: This not only leads to the game’s epilogue but also prevents you from accessing the caves. I strongly recommend saving beforehand or making this your final achievement.
Faranel I
These can be completed at any point.
Matchmaker
Kalcephalos has a new decoration from an admirer.
Exhaust Garret’s and Kalcephalos’ dialogues. Eventually, Garret will talk about his glasswork and give you the Glass Bread. Pass it on to Kal.
Sous Chef
Returning the bag of flour offered a grand show of strength.
Exhaust Kalcephalos’ dialogue until he brings up a bag of flour. Exit his store and head south, passing the windmill. Speak to the farmer near the water wheel. Return to the bakery, carrying the bag of flour.
Dragon Buns
Enjoyed a steamy treat from the secret menu.
Once Kal mentions a secret menu, head back to Arakarn’s house and sleep till night. Return to the bakery for a treat. Unlocks the CG for Kal’s Secret Menu.
Heat of Battle
Forged a new bond with the local blacksmith.
Talk to Garret until he mentions teaching you his craft and a sparring match. The ‘Sparring’ option will lead to unlocking the CG for Garret’s Training.
Miner
There are no more nodes to show Garret.
There are three nodes in the Verdure Forest, one in the Flame Peaks mountain path, and two in the Moorsh Grotto. Return to Garret after finding all six of them. Note: if you miss the Moorsh Grotto nodes in your first time there, don’t worry! You can obtain more thistle tea tickets after completing the Cat-tastrophe accolade and/or befriending Mandilitrio. A video created by chapomon showcases all of their locations.
A Hard Surprise
Garret was thrilled to add a new geode to his collection.
Get Garret to crack the Smooth Rock open for you. It can be found within one of the Moorsh Grotto nodes described by the Miner accolade (timestamped at 1:48 in the video above).
Bridging the Gap
Medwyn repaired the bridge!
With the ring of light in hand (refer to the Runemaster accolade), enter the cave in Verdure Forest and proceed all the way to the west, being cautious not to fall. After some platforming, you’ll pass by a waterfall. Climb the rock past the waterfall and continue until Calen mentions the broken bridge. Talk to Medwyn at the entrance of Verdure Forest, and return to the location after a while to find out the bridge has been fixed.
Fragrant
Arakarn smells as lovely as a flower again.
After Medwyn fixes the bridge, cross it and collect a fragrant flower at the top of the cliff. Present it to Arakarn.
Healing Touch
Enjoyed the company of a skilled healer.
After presenting the flower to Arakarn, proceed through his dialogue until he mentions belly rubs. Sleep until night, then return to him for a mutual physical examination. Unlocks the CG for Arakarn’s Examination.
Duped
Arakarn will find a use for the other flowers.
Give Arakarn the other flowers you can find in the Verdure Forest. The pink flower is located by going west all the way after entering the forest, while the white flower can be found by taking the first entrance south after entering the forest, slightly to the west.
Faranel II
Reminiscing
Memories of Luca were uncovered in the hay.
In Faranel, head south until you reach the area with the windmill during daytime. Adjacent to it, there’s a red barn. Once inside, climb the stairs and interact with the hay on the top left. Unlocks the CG for Remembering Luca.
Late-Night Snack
Snacks are always best enjoyed with a friend.
At night, ascend Lower Flame Peaks and move west near the ladder to Upper Flame Peaks until you encounter a hole. Descend parallel to the edge and land on the narrow terrain to discover a concealed path (image below). Proceed east and examine the pile of crates. Unlocks the CG for Snacktime Behind the Boxes.
Endless Bounty
Discovered the mercenary and his werewolf companion.
Descend into the cave in the Verdure Forest (you’ll need the light ring for this, more info on how to obtain it under the Runemaster accolade). Find a secret cove inside the forest cave (after entering the forest cave, proceed west until you encounter a wall that you can climb down. Then, head west again, climb down another wall, and the secret cove will be immediately to the east). When you’re close, Calen will mention hearing voices. Keep listening through the diamond hole until Drok’tar talks about a bakery in town. Look for him in the bakery, chat until he talks about going to the store for supplies. Then, find Drok’tar in the store next door; chat until he mentions heading to the tavern. Continue the conversation with him at the tavern. The next time you go back to the hidden cove in the cave, you’ll see a scene with Drok’tar, unlocking the CG called Underground with Drok’tar.
A Hero’s Ballad
Civ composed an epic ballad for Lozran of the Flame.
Encounter and talk to the bard four times: in the forest after climbing some vines, near the top of the mountain singing next to a cliff’s edge, at the top of the poisonous cave entrance, and finally in the tavern during nighttime.
Friends of a Feather
Chased away 100 birds!
Should unlock naturally as you progress through the game. Simply walk towards any bird, and it will fly away. If, by the end of the game, the achievement hasn’t unlocked, locate a group of birds in Faranel or the forest and walk back and forth to scare them off.
Every Dog Deserves Pets
Good dogs got good pets.
Pet Daisy and Chomp near the Teas and Tonics shop in Lower Farmlands. Chomp will only be there if Cornelius Umlindi is present, and he might disappear at times. If he’s not there, try sleeping until dusk and check the location again.
Faranel (post-game)
Post-game refers to the events that can only occur after Warrick is healed.
A Friend to All
All of the NPCs have been talked to!
As the name implies, engage in conversation with every NPC. The following section of this guide compiles information on the location of each NPC in the game. Note that you can only talk to Warrick after he wakes up, which is why this achievement is listed under this section.
Cat-tastrophe
Gavel’s cats have been returned to him!
Initiate the quest by talking to Gavel. Locate his missing cats and bring them back to him. Rollie can be found near the water wheel in Upper Farmlands. Chuppo is under a tree at the west end of Lower Faranel. Squid is found climbing up the ladders in Upper Faranel. This quest gives you a Tea Voucher, which can be presented to Warrick to unlock the CG for Tea Time with Warrick.
One’s Trash
Garret appreciated the bag of ore he received.
Return to the location where you finished the Runemaster puzzle, after completing the Cat-tastrophe accolade and acquiring another red thistle tea. A bit below, you’ll discover an entrance that wasn’t present during your initial visit. Enter, and you’ll encounter Mandilitrio. Engage in conversation with him until he provides you with the bag of ore, then present it as a gift to Garret.
Figured it Out
The town has a positive view of the bryovera!
Similarly to One’s Trash, talk to Mandilitrio until he gives you the Bryovera Figurine. Just like Potato Connoisseur, you must show it to everyone in town, and then return to Mandilitrio. A list of where to find everyone can be found in the next section.
Tasty
Kalcephalos is excited to cook with the new spices.
Similarly to One’s Trash, talk to Mandilitrio until he gives you a lesson in spice making. Present the obtained bag of spice as a gift to Kalcephalos.
Underground Treat
Mandilitrio loved his mushroom.
After you enter Moorsh Grotto, head east all the way and climb up the ladder, past the runestone you placed, until you find a wall you can climb. Head up, then head west from the top, ensuring you always make long jumps so you don’t fall down. Getting the mushroom involves some complicated platforming, but as long as you’re jumping as far as possible, you’ll find the mushroom at the end of the line (video below). Offer it as a gift to Mandilitrio after he mentions it in conversation.

Not So Scary
Showed a big guy some much deserved love.
After showing the Bryovera figure to enough people and exhausting Mandilitrio’s dialogue, you’ll get access to a special scene with him. Unlocks the CG for Mandilitrio’s Mossy Bath.
Spitting Image
This one can live.
After you have some fun with Mandilitrio, he’ll mention working on a statue of yours. Interact with it, it’s located on his cave, climbing the wall behind him, to your right.
Bath Time
There’s a place for everyone to enjoy a warm bath again!
As above, after having some private time with Mandilitrio, exhaust his dialogue to inform him about the bathhouse needing repairs. Head to Northern Verdure Forest (the first entrance to the north after entering the forest) and proceed all the way to the east. A new passage will appear, and you’ll find Mandilitrio working on fixing the water. Return to the same spot after some time has passed, and he’ll notify you that the water is flowing again. Speaking to Selitrius unlocks the accolade. Presenting him with the soap bar you just acquired unlocks the CG Selitrius Backrub.
Even Softer
Arakarn’s even soften than realized.
After the bathhouse is repaired, present the soap bar to Arakarn. Unlocks the CG Bathhouse – Arakarn.
Rematch
Garret’s rematch ended in a draw.
After the bathhouse is repaired, present the soap bar to Garret. Unlocks the CG Bathhouse – Garret.
Dragon Soup
Kal’s recipe for dragon soup turned out perfectly.
After the bathhouse is repaired, present the soap bar to Kalcephalos. Unlocks the CG Bathhouse – Kalcephalos.
A Full Belly
Warrick provided a most filling meal.
After the bathhouse is repaired, present the soap bar to Warrick. Unlocks the CG Bathhouse – Warrick.
Taste Test
Mandilitrio proved to have quite the refined palate.
