Following the postponement for the release of Food Wars! The Fifth Plate, the official website has officially announced the return date of the anime series.
According to the J.C. Staff, Food Wars Season 5 Episode 3 broadcast will resume on Friday, July 3rd. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak in Japan in the past few months, the production team decides to put the series in hiatus. Now, Souma Yukihira is getting ready for his return in Food Wars!

Apart from the fifth season of Food Wars, there are also lots of new anime coming in July. This includes the promising The God of High School, Rent-A-Girlfriend, and the 2nd Season of RE:Zero – Starting Life in Another World. Meanwhile, some of the popular anime that has been postponed due to the same reason will also return before the month of June ends. One Piece and Black Clover are the confirmed anime series coming next week.
Update #1: The production studio has moved the release date of Episode 3 on July 17th.
