After playing the game for quite a while you may notice that lobotomy corp has a major memory leak issue. alors, what can be done about it? i don’t believe that there’s a surefire way to 100% stop the issue, but here are some methods i’ve used and tested and have noticed that stops the issue from making my game crash every day, tout au moins.
For all of these methods i would suggest that you use them all together, and that you have task manager open to monitor your computer’s memory useage.
Méthode 1: Removing the performance optimizations mod
The first method i’ve tried is just removing the performance mod. i haven’t done super extensive testing for this, but after removing it i’ve noticed that my game ran better, had less bugs, and that the memory leak issue in my game became lessened. (invisible agents, lag when zooming out, etc.) unless it’s integral to your gameplay, i just wouldn’t have this enabled.
Méthode 2: Borderless gaming
Another issue that i’ve noticed that directly contributed to the game becoming unstable was alt-tabbing. i don’t know if it’s to due with how the game’s fullscreen mode was implemented, or something else, but putting the game into my borderless gaming setup seems to have fixed this issue.

Méthode 3: Dumping memory with RAMMap
RAMMap is an official microsoft program that presents the user with information about the users system, and it also helps with fixing the memory leak issue without any need to restart the game. all you need to do is run the program when you notice that the game is taking a lot of RAM, and click then click on “vide” in the top bar, and then click on each of the items in the list.
Après avoir fait ça, tab back into the game and wait a few moments for the game to re-stabilize. if you click on anything in the window while the game is still unstable from this process it may crash, donc sois prudent.
