How to Create an Efficient Filtration System in Stationeers

How to create a more efficient and repeatable gas filtration system.

Parts List

1 Atmos Kit Cycled to Filtration per gas being filtered

2 Filters (Medium or heavy recommended)

2 copper cable per filtration

~25 pipe or insulated pipe per gas

Copper wire for the distance needed to reach your power system.

1 power controller

1 Gas tank or insulated Gas Tank

1 Gas tank or insulated Gas Tank per gas collected

1 Turbo pump gas

(pick one or more gas sources)

1 or more Active vent

1 or more ice crusher + volume pump

1 furnace exhaust input (lots of pipe running from furnace to filtraion area)

Other gas source

(optional)

1 pipe analyzer per gas

1 pipe heater per gas

ic logic parts not listed

Instructions

Run one long input pipe along 1 side.

Run one long output pipe underneath or above for waste gases.

Connect the unfiltered Filtration output (front face) to the waste gas pipe.

At the end of your chain of Filtration units connect the waste line to a turbo pump which connects back to the main input line. This is done to minimize the pressure in the waste line as the greater the pressure difference between the input and waste lines the faster the Filtration units can work.

Lastly connect each filtered output to your filtered storage tank. The longer this line is and the more spread apart the Filtration units are the easier it will be to pull needed lines for gas mixing and for expanding storage later.

It is highly recommended to use insulated materials if running this system outside. Temperature control is used in the pictured system to prevent liquid buildup. Alternatively you could use a condensation valve and purge valve to cycle liquids out of each line and the gases back in as needed. (can cause freezing liquids and high gas temps)
