Rust Fiend Cheese!
* Class: Mage
* Minimal recommended affinities: level 3 enchanter & level 2 rod
* Required Armor: gloves with wall phasing
* Required weapon: Wave Rod & Wand Of Digging
The Rust Fiend is the train-like boss at the bottom of the factory which is accessed by using the treasure key on the locked door on the second level of The Rift. After navigating to the bottom of the map. make your way over to the right wall and using the Wand Of Digging 1 tile of the boss arena will remain as it is indestructible but a tunnel will be created behind it now with a pair of gloves with the wall phasing ability you can travel to the tunnel you have made on the right side of the boss arena and use a Wave Rod with fire, ice, and lightning enchantment which the weapon ability travels through walls and has the maximum hit frames of the mage rods and allows you to murder the boss safely from the other side of the wall and the boss can’t hit you! then go pick up the +2 luck rune orb and get the Infernal Engine achievement!
