Inkbound Achievements Walkthrough Guide

With the 0.3 update, “Gods & Relics”, Inkbound introduced Steam Achievements.

Here you can find all the information you want to get that sweet Completionist ribbon.
I’ll be keeping this guide updated with every new possible achievement.

If you need any help, please feel free to drop a comment below!

Total Achievements (28)

There are a total of 28 earnable achievements on Inkbound.

In the next sections, you’ll find the Steam description for all of them and a small guide for some of the trickier ones.

Needless Achievements (6)

These achievements will likely be the first ones you get after starting Inkbound.

A Whole New World
Enter the Atheneum for the first time.

Death is not the End
Die for the first time.

Villain Slayer
Defeat a Villain for the first time.

Augmenting Aficionado
Fully upgrade a Binding.

Treasure Hoarder
Equip enough Vestiges to fill your inventory.

Curious Customer
Unlock a Trinket.

Story Achievements (5)

These achievements are earned by playing through the story.

Sometimes you’ll need to progress on a certain quest before another one is unlocked.

Beware of spoilers.

Birdie Hunting
Collect the “Magic Threads”.

Truth Detector
Unmask the Unbound.

Meeting of the Minds
Find the Gatekeeper and OHM.

Search for the Slab
Find the Opal Slab.

Jailbroken
Free the Captive.

Ranked Achievements (4)

These achievements are available by winning Ranked Dives.

They add Rank Modifiers and Book Mutators that’ll make the game harder.

Solo Challenger
Win a Solo Run at Challenge Rank 10.

Solo Conqueror
Win a Solo Run at Challenge Rank 20.

Group Challenger
Win a Group Run at Challenge Rank 20.

Group Conqueror
Win a Group Run at Challenge Rank 20.

Group Achievements (3)

These achievements, alongside the Group Rank ones in the previous section, can be earned while playing on Multiplayer.

They are possible with a minimum party of 2 players.

You can use the in-game Matchmaking feature.

Let’s Get this Party Started
Start a group run.

There’s No “I” in Team
Win a group run.

A Selfless Needless
Heal another player.

Win Condition Achievements (8)

This section includes all the achievements that require you to win following a certain rule.

They’re best done individually.

King Midas
Win a run with 1,000 or more Kwillings.

This can be done by picking Kwilling Chest nodes whenever possible and Vestiges that belong to the Kwilling Hoarder set, increasing your overall Kwilling gain.

Also, get those Treasure Chests!

Stuck in the Gunk
Win a run without ever moving in combat.

Despite how it sounds, you can actually move around by using Movement Bindings like Magma Miner’s Leaping Strike or Mosscloak’s Scavenger’s Dash. You can check if it belongs to that category by hovering over the Binding.

Walking accidentally is also fine, as long as you reset your positioning by pressing E (or the key which you have rebound it to) before attacking.

There are many ways to achieve this, but I personally suggest picking Clairvoyant with the “Marker of the Unbound” Trinket. This’ll make you immune to Blight and give you a permanent power boost every 6 times you attack while standing on that ink.

Shoutout to Pips for letting me in on this loadout!

Choose Blink on your first Binding Draft and then teleport to the edge of the arena. Pressing Shift lets you pan the camera around and helps you aim your Shardglobe to defeat the enemies.

Since it’ll be harder to collect Orbs, any Binding Augment or Vestiges with Cooldown or Cost Reduction will be very helpful.

Each run also lets you pick a total of 3 Epic Augments; one after each Book Guardian and another after the Elite before the final Boss. Blink has an Epic Augment that spawns an Orb wherever you land, for a possible total of 3 Orbs.

Orbless
Win a run without collecting an Orb.

The hardest part of this achievement is not clicking on those beautiful Orbs. You’ll probably need to restart a few times.

Just like Stuck in the Gunk, any Cooldown or Cost Reduction options will immensely aid you.

Can’t Touch This
Win a run without taking any damage.

This is one of the most challenging achievements. You need to pay close attention to your Shield and Blur stacks.

The Trinket “Blessing of Misplaced Nobility” is the best choice for this, as it’ll give you 2 Shielding every turn for a downside of less 25 Max HP; which we won’t be needing anyway.

Mosscloak is my recommended Aspect. With the new update, it gained an uncommon Augment called Shielding Flurry; rewarding you with 1 Shield for every Shuriken stack you throw out.

Along with the uncommon Shielding Dash, gaining 1 Shield for every enemy you pass through, and the rare Quick Dash, resetting it’s own Cooldown everytime you Dash, you’ll be an impenetrable wall in no time.

Any Daze, Blur or Bastion set Vestiges are all a great choice to pick.

Base Kit
Win a run without drafting any bindings.

No Augments No Problem
Win a run without acquiring any augments.

These two achievements are similar.

For “Base Kit”, you can only use your 3 default Bindings.

You won’t have the option for Ascensions, as the game will keep trying to give you a Drafted Binding, but Augments are fine.

For “No Augments No Problem”, you can pick any 2 extra Bindings besides your Base Kit but not Augments.

Ascensions are allowed.

Empty Pockets
Win a run without acquiring any vestiges.

Another harder achievement.

You have to win a run without ever picking up a Vestige. Choosing one and dropping it won’t work.

Focus on creating good synergies between your Bindings and good luck!

Spare the Henchmen
Defeat a Villain without defeating any other unit in that fight.

Due to how the Tentacle mechanic works in the Argolath fight and the Cynderpox damaging you without a chance to heal, this is most easily done with Shadow of Ruhnstone.

I recommend going for a Damage over Time build using Bleed, Poison or Burn so you can stack it directly on Ruhnstone and use your remaining Will to Shield or Heal.

Make sure the hands aren’t aiming at the head or they’ll get destroyed and count as an unit defeat.

You can poke them to adjust the targeting if that happens.

Completion Achievements (2)

These are the last two achievements in this guide and the ones that’ll take the most time.

Well Read
Complete all Aspect Quests.

Collect every Binding Augment and Ascension on each Aspect.

You can check these in the Logbook.

Pay attention to the triangle symbol above cards when drafting. If you see it, that means it’s an option you haven’t taken yet.

Victorious
Complete all objectives in the Victory Board.

The hardest Achievement on this Guide.

The Victory Board can be accessed through the Logbook.

It’s the end goal after you’ve finished all the quests and requires it’s own set of 108 fullfilling Conditions, rewarding you with dapper cosmetics for your character.

These will reset every Season and the rewards be put into the free Cosmetic Vault.
