Niantic has announced that starting today, September 1st at 1:00 PM PDT, until November 1st at 1:00 PM PDT, players will be able to participate in the new Research Breakthroughs in Pokemon GO.
Questa volta, Flower-crowned Eevee got the spotlight for the Research Breakthroughs, also featuring the shiny version of a Flower-crowned Eevee. This is a limited-time event to capture and catch an Eevee equipped with a cosmetic.
Since this Eevee is different from the normal Eevee without a cosmetic, the Eeveelution name tricks will still work. Tuttavia, players should also take note that some of these name tricks will only work once.
Eeveelution Tricks
Eevee can be evolved normally and will choose between Flareon, Jolteon, e Vaporon. The evolution result is random the name tricks and methods below are not applied. To get the desired evolution, check the following name tricks:
- Flareon – Rename Eevee to Pyro
- Jolteon – Rename Eevee to Sparky
- Vaporeon – Rename Eevee to Rainer
- Espeon – Rename Eevee to Sakura
- Glaceon – Rename Eevee to Rea
- Leafeon – Rename Eevee to Linnea
- Umbreon – Rename Eevee to Tamao
