Following the renewal of the franchise, Netflix officially confirmed that the Kingdom’s second season will be having the same number of episodes as the previous season. The first season got a total of 6 エピソード, which means the second season will also be having the same number with almost the same runtime.

Apart from the characters who died in the previous season, キングダムシーズン 2 will still casted by the same characters. Ju Ji-Hoon, ペ・ドゥナ, リュ・スンリョン, Kim Hye-Jun, キム・サンホ, and more will still appear in the show. In addition to the current cast, Jun Ji Hyun and Kim Jong-Soo will join the roster.
