KeyWe Achievements Walkthrough Guide

A list of all achievements in KeyWe sorted by their type, along with the requirements for unlocking them.

Introduction

KeyWe features 20 achievements, with some requiring some major effort to get. I’ve tried my best to add additional info on how to unlock them to the more involved ones.

All of the achievements can be unlocked using any of the modes of play, meaning you can get them in coop or alone using either of the available control styles.

Consider trying out these different options if you’re stuck on some tasks, as they can change the difficulty of the game’s challenges quite a bit. For example, the single player mode in which you switch between controlling either kiwi will noticeably increase your available time while switching multitasking for more elaborate gameplay.

Story Progression

KeyWe tells a basic story, guiding you through 3 different seasons each with 12 unique levels. These achievements are unlocked automatically, as you progress through these levels.

You’re Hired!
Become registered Teleposters.

This will be triggered right at the start of the game, when you start the story for the first time.

Learn the Ropes
Complete the first week of Summer

You get this achievement after finishing the first 4 summer levels.

Fun in the Bungalow Basin Sun
Complete every level in Summer

You’ll have to finish all 12 levels of summer.

Pumpkins and Postage Stamps
Complete every level in Autumn

For this one, just finish all 12 autumn levels unlocked after you complete all summer ones.

Complete every level in Winter
Complete every level in Winter

Simply finish all 12 of the winter levels, which you unlock after finishing all the ones from autumn.

High Scores

When completing a level, the time you took to do so is saved as your high score. Each level has 3 target times, awarding you more stamps the more of them you beat. You’ll get a permanent “Postmaster” mark on any level in which you beat all 3 times.

Practice Makes Postmasters
Beat your previous score on a level

You should get this one naturally when replaying a level as you improve and get faster.

If you want to be safe, try to wait before fully finishing a level for the first time, then replay it without waiting to claim the achievement.

Summer Postmasters
Earn Postmaster on all Summer Levels

Simply unlock the postmaster mark for all 12 summer levels.

Autumn Postmasters
Earn Postmaster on all Autumn levels

Replay all 12 autumn level until you reach get postmaster mark for all of them.

Winter Postmasters
Earn Postmaster on all Winter levels

Improve your score in the 12 winter levels to unlock the postmaster mark for all of them.

Postmasters General
Earn Postmaster on every level in the Calendar

Unlocked after earning “Summer Postmasters”, “Autumn Postmasters” and “Winter Postmasters” by getting the postmaster mark on all 36 available levels.

This will be awarded together with whichever of the three achievements one you got last.

Overtime Shifts

Overtime shifts are unlocked during summer, offering you various minigames to play in order to earn more stamps. You’ll unlock 9 in total – 3 for each season you play through.

Working for the Kiweekend
Complete an Overtime Shift for Bonus Pay

After completing a proper level, there will often be a bonus pay marker looking like a golden stamp placed on one of the available overtime shifts. Simply play the marked one to earn additional stamps and unlock this achievement.

Working Overtime
Earn Postmaster on every Overtime Shift

Similarly to the regular levels, each overtime shift comes with 3 target scores, granting you more stamps the more of them you manage to beat. You’ll get a permanent “Postmaster” mark on any overtime shift in which you achieve a score higher than each of the three.

For this achievement, you’ll have to earn the postmaster mark on all 9 of the overtime shifts.

Collectibles

The game features two kinds of collectible for you to gather, granting multiple achievements as you complete your collection.

A Startling Discovery
Find a Collectible

Many of the regular levels in KeyWe contain secret collectibles, which require you to complete certain steps while playing the level, before beating said level to unlock them. To gain this achievement, you simply have to collect any one of them.

The menu contains a collectible area, which shows you the secrets you’ve yet to claim and allows you to buy hints for how to find each one.

Every one of the secret collectibles rewards you with a wearable item when collecting it, meaning they’re also relevant for the “Stocking Up” and “Fully Stocked” achievements below.

Secrets of the Telepost
Find every Collectible

Overall, there are 15 levels with secrets to find, with you having to unlock all of them to gain this achievement.

For more info on unlocking the secrets, take a look at the “A Startling Discovery” achievement above.

Stocking Up
Earn half of the wearables in the Wardrobe

To trigger this achievement, you’ll need to unlock half of the wearables available in the game.

The shop shows a preview of all wearables, each with info on what is required to earn it. Most wearables can simply be bought in exchange for stamps, meaning you’ll mostly have to amass stamps to complete this challenge.

Additionally, there are 15 wearables available exclusively through finding secrets within the game’s levels. Take a look at the “A Startling Discovery” achievement above for more info on how to get these.

As far as I can tell, this achievement (as well as “Fully Stocked”) only counts the base game items, meaning none of the ones from the Telepost Tournament DLC should be required to unlock it. Cosmetics added through updates also weren’t needed for me, though there isn’t really a good way to differentiate most of these. You should definitely be able to skip the ones requiring Challenge Coins though.

Fully Stocked
Earn all of the wearables in the Wardrobe

This achievement has basically the same requirements as the last one, but needs you to unlock every single wearable available in the game.

For more info on how to get the wearables, take a look at the “Stocking Up” achievement above. The same exceptions outlined there also apply for this achievement.

DLC – The 100th Grand Ol’ Telepost Tournament

The first proper DLC for the game adds cooperative races versus AI opponents, tasking you with completing its 3 courses in various ways.

Off to the Races
Complete all 3 courses of the Telepost Tournament.

Just play through the 3 different course that come with the tournament – your placement doesn’t matter.

Against All Odds
Complete all Challenges, in all 3 courses of the Telepost Tournament.

Each course from the tournament comes with 3 different challenges, which you can activate at the start of the course before the race starts. These give you additional objectives to complete during the course, in exchange for reducing your final time. For this achievement, simply finish each race after enabling all of the 3 respective challenges – your placement doesn’t matter.

KeyWe are the Champions
Place 1st in all 3 courses of the Telepost Tournament.

Win each of the 3 races, either with or without all challenges enabled.

You’ll have to practice in order to get comfortable with the games controls and learn the different parts of each course.

Tournamasters
Place 1st with all Challenges active, in all 3 courses of the Telepost Tournament.

Just as for the last one, you’ll have to win each of the three races, but now with all 3 challenges of the respective courses enabled.

This is the hardest achievement of the tournament and requires some excellent execution, meaning you’ll have to practice a lot to memorize your tasks and master KeyWe’s controls.
