Kiriko is one of the newest support healing heroes in Overwatch 2. There are two ways to obtain Kiriki in Overwatch 2. Read on as guide you through the steps on how to get Kiriko for free in Overwatch 2.

How to Get Kiriko in Overwatch 2

Kiriko can be obtained in two different ways. One method will force you to spend some real money and the other method is for free but need some grinding.

Unlock at Tier 1

The first method that we’re going to mention to get Kiriko is by unlocking it using the Overwatch Season 1 Battle Pass. To get a Battle Pass, you need to spend a total of 1000 Overwatch Points, which will cost you a total of $10 USD. Of course, this price also depends on your location and currency.

While you can earn Overwatch Points for free as you play the game, it will take you around 4 and a half months. Since Season 2 of Overwatch is about to start on December 5th, relying on free Overwatch Points that you earn in-game will not allow you to get Kiriko.

Unlock at Tier 55

The free method to get Kiriki is to reach Tier 5 of the free Battle Pass of Season 1. To reach this tier before the season ends, you need to grind really hard. Here are some tips that you can do to reach Tier 55 before Overwatch 2 Season 1 ends.

  • Complete the daily challenges with the Season 1 icon. Completing every daily challenge will give you a total of 9000 Battle Pass XP. However, you will also receive an additional XP as a reward for completing a challenge.
  • Complete the weekly challenges with the Season 1 icon. Completing a weekly challenge will reward you with around 5000 Battle Pass XP, and completing all of the weekly challenges will give you more than 50,000 Battle Pass XP. In addition to the Battle Pass XP, you will also receive Overwatch 2 coins.
  • Complete the season challenges. Each season challenge will give you around 500-1000 worth of Battle Pass XP.
  • Complete the lifetime challenges with the Season 1 icon. Interestingly, some of the lifetime challenges can be completed using the Practice vs AI modes.

How to Get Kiriko After Season 1

As confirmed by Blizzard, players will still have a chance to earn past heroes in future seasons. Some of the methods that players can use to obtain Kiriko after the season ends is by acquiring them in the sho using Overwatch Coins or completing hero challenges.
