Parking Tycoon Business Simulator Achievements Walkthrough Guide

All but one of the achievements in Parking Tycoon: Business Simulator are fairly straight forward. This guide covers each of them with some additional information or tips I’ve found where it might help.

NOTE: The achievements in Parking Tycoon: Business Simulator don’t ‘pop’ while you’re playing the game. You’ll need to save and then exit the game for them to register and appear in your profile.

Guest Galore

Ok so I’ve put this one at the top of the guide as it’s the most troublesome of the ten. It’s going to be a bit of a grind and you’ll achieve it quite a long time after you’ve hit everything else in this game. At this point, you won’t really have anything else to do in the game other than wait, so it does become a bit of a Watching Simulator.

I had my lot fully furnished with 10,000+ Reputation (at level 8) after about 7.5 hours play time. This gives around 100 customers every 15 minutes. However, with less traffic early on in the game, there’s a certain upswing in the curve and this eventually popped for me after 36 hours with a $4.3M account balance.

This seems to be a fairly consistent time frame as others have mentioned in

Currently, there’s no way to track how many customers have used your beautifully designed parking lot and with the achievements only popping once you’ve saved/exited the game, it means that you won’t easily know when you’ve got there.

The best advice I can give here is to open up each lot area as soon as possible and get those pesky white bays painted so that you’re maximising your traffic. As tempting as it is to invest in one section as much as possible before moving onto the next, it’s only going to lengthen the amount of time it takes to see 10,000 customers come through your gate.

I generally went through this process for each Rep Level

  • Open and Concrete the next available area as soon as you reach the required Reputation Level
  • Get the 18 bays painted so that you have more potential for customers
  • Start upgrading the areas until you reach the next Rep Level (Do large upgrades first as they tend to give the most rep increase. Things like the office and placing asphalt down will give a nice boost that you can then top up with planters and other decor)
  • Rinse and Repeat until you hit Rep Level 8

Not A Rookie Anymore!

Simply follow the tasks from the start of the game. The final task of the tutorial phase is to have $10,000 in the bank.

Tasks in order:

  • Gain access to the computer in the office.
  • Purchase concrete ground for first parking area
  • Purchase one or more white paints
  • Unpack the delivered goods
  • Draw one or more parking lots (you need 18 cans to paint the entire beginning lot and it’s worth doing as soon as you can. It costs $3600 for the 18 cans)
  • Get payment from the client
  • Put 3 pieces of decor on the green area
  • Reach the second level of reputation (You should reach Reputation Level 2 by marking out all 18 bays, adding the 3 pieces of decor and clearing all the garbage from the lot)
  • Make $10,000 (If you continue to develop the parking lot, you’ll start to make more money and it’ll be relatively easy to let your balance tick over the $10k mark before spending on the next phase)

NBA Star

There’s a basketball hoop on the right hand side of the office as you’re facing it. While you’re waiting for that $10K to line your pockets, just shoot a few hoops.

It might take a handful of tries to get it, but it’s not that much of a challenge.

Full House

On the computer in the office, go to the Employee tab at the top and employ a porter, guard and cleaner at the same time.

Porters and Guards are available at Reputation Level 3 and Cleaners at Reputation level 4.

Tip: Use the AUTO button for each shift to keep staff turning up to work. Using employ will have them do just one shift

Triple Penalty

This may well happen all on it’s own towards the end of your playthrough and once you have all the levels of the lot in place. The guards aren’t great at keeping every vandal away, so you’ll find things happening even with them present.

If you find it isn’t quite getting there on it’s own, just remove the guards and the cleaners for a shift or two so that the hooligans have a bit of free reign.

You’ll end up with the three penalties showing up underneath your reputation score.

You Shall Not Pass!

This should naturally come with time towards the latter end of your playthrough. Vandals stopped by both you and your guards count towards this achievement.

You can manually stop them by choosing the night stick from the menu wheel and bashing them while in the act of whatever vandalism they’re performing.

Garbage Glut

This is easier to do towards the final stages of your play through and once your lot is fully built. Simply remove any cleaners from working and just wait for the garbage to start piling up.

Having a few vending machines around will speed up this process. With a fully built lot (including the basement), 1 coffee machine, 1 snack machine and 1 hot dog vendor it took about 20 minutes for me to hit -1000 Trash.

Core Explorer

Just build the final phase of the lot, underground, from the parking section of the computer once you hit Reputation Level 7.

Fortress Parking

To achieve this just build a level 3 fence all the way around your completed lot.

You’ll likely have built a level 1 or 2 fence around your lot while levelling your reputation so you’ll need to take that all back into your inventory and sell it before you can put the level 3 fence out.

There are a total of 96 fence panels around the lot and you can only carry 5 of the level 3’s at a time, so you’re going to be making a few trips to get all the way around.

Millionaire Mogul

This is a cumulative $1,000,000 (including all the monies you’ve spent) and NOT the total balance that you need to have (I got this one with around £36,000 showing). You’ll be very likely reach this automatically towards the end of your playthrough and certainly well before you achieve Guest Galore.
