Niantic has announced a new limited Pokemon GO event called Incense Day featuring spawn rate increase of water and dark-type Pokemon.
On May 17th from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time, Pokemon GO players will be able to experience the features of Incense Day in Pokemon GO. This will increase the spawn rate of water and dark-type Pokemon in Pokemon GO especially Carvanha and its shiny form.
Pokemon GO Incense Day Features
- Carvanha will be attracted and appearing during the event.
- An event-exclusive 1 PokeCoin bundle will be available in the shop.
- Apart from Carvanha, more Pokemon will also be attracted by the Incense.
- The type of Pokemon appearing because of the Incense will be alternate every hour.
- Each Insense will last up to 1 hour.

Note: All Pokemon listed above has a chance of catching shiny except for Tyompole and Alomomola.
