How to Counter Kyurem

The Legendary Kyurem is an Ice and Dragon-type Pokemon, which means that players have multiple options to exploit the weaknesses of this Pokemon.

Kyurem is weak against Fairy, Dragon, Steel, Fighting, and Rock-type attacks. However, it is resistant to Water, Grass, and Electric-type Pokemon. It is highly recommended using Pokemon having these types of moves to increase the chance of winning.

As for our recommendations, we suggest using the following Pokemon to beat Kyurem:

  • Lucario with Counter and Aura Sphere
  • Dialga with Metal Claw and Draco Meteor
  • Metagross with Bullet Punch and Meteor Mash
  • Conkeldurr with Counter and Dynamic Punch
  • Zekrom with Dragon Breath and Outrage

In case you don’t have these Pokemon, you can also use Rhyperior with Smack Down and Rock Wrecker and Rampardos with Smack Down and Rock Slide.
