Along with the Pokemon GO Throwback Challenges, Niantic has also released the Generation V Pokemon Virizion in Pokemon GO.
This is not the first time for Virizion to arrive in the game. In fact, it already appeared in Pokemon GO several times. But to celebrate the arrival of Remote Raid Passes, Niantic has to re-release the Legendary Pokemon in Pokemon GO once again. The Legendary Virizion is a grass/fighting-type Pokemon introduced in Generation V. In Pokemon GO, it has a max CP of 39,601 and it is recommended to have at least 2 players to defeat it.

In Pokemon GO, Virizion will be able to learn Quick Attack and Zen Headbutt as fast moves and Close Combat, Stone Edge, and Leaf Blade as charged moves.
After defeating the Legendary Pokemon in raids, you will be able to catch Virizion with a max CP of 1727. When weather boosted, you will have a chance to get a Virizion with max CP of 2159. In addition, the shiny form of Virizion is also available in Pokemon GO.
Pokemon GO Virizion Legendary Raid is available starting from May 12th at 1:00 PM (PDT) until May 19th at 1:00 PM (PDT).
