Niantic has officially announced that the Ground/Rock-type Pokemon Rhyhorn introduced in Generation 1 is the featured Pokemon for the February 2020 Dia da Comunidade Pokémon GO.
Rhyhorn is the selected winner following the voting procedures that happened a few days ago. Pokemon GO Rhyhorn Community Day will be available on February 22 starting from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM local time for the countries in the northern hemisphere, while the trainers from the southern hemisphere will be able to participate the event from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM local time.z
Rhyhorn Pokemon GO Community Day Features
Similar to the previous event, the upcoming Pokemon GO Community Day will be bringing the shiny form of the featured Pokemon. During the event, players who managed to evolve Rhyhorn into Rhyperior will be able to learn an exclusive move named Rock Wrecker.
Apart from shiny Rhyhorn and exclusive move, Pokemon GO players will also be experiencing in-game bonuses. These bonuses are the 3x catch Stardust, 3-hour span Lure Modules, and the increased spawn rate of Rhyhorn.
