Rogue Genesia Beginner’s Infinity Survival Guide and Tips

How to get infinity survival in the latest patch as of writing this (Duelist and World C) because the existing guide wasn’t working for me.

The Strat

Rather than relying on an instant kill that is now far more unreliable, the build I used to get the achievement used knockback and a ton of HP gates (Evasion, Duelist, Sage’s leaf, Troll’s Blood) to stall out the timer.

Here is what I started with.

Duelist gives us another HP gate and minimizes our weapon slots. We don’t need more than 4, extra weapons will produce more lag and increase the risk of crashing. In addition, having the option to pick more weapons will flood our soul card selection with weapons we do not want, getting in the way of finding our important soul cards.

E rank survival gives us a nice amount of time to get our build up and running before the fast forward, without allowing really annoying enemy types to spawn.

Talent-wise, we maximize all the stats that our important to us and start with the swordrang, since it’s the rarest weapon in our build. I did not have my talents maxed out, but they were fairly high level.

The Build

These are the weapons I used during my successful run. The corrupted core representing that you want them all at level 8 if possible. Note that the cleaver and swordrang aren’t fused, un-fused cleaver is one of the best options for knockback in the game. Just remember to turn auto-aim on in keybindings.

As for artifacts, these 6 are the most important. Herme’s hood makes it much easier to reach the attack speed cap, sage’s leaf is another HP gate, troll’s blood + cursed belt lets us actually use our HP gates together to become nearly invincible, carved dice helps us fish for the important cards, and corrupted core makes the entire build much stronger. Other good, but less important artifacts are old coin and magnifying crystal for XP, and lightning boots to make evasion even better.

These are the most important soul cards. You want evasion for sure, and max your dash stats to maximize its effectiveness. Past that, these are the most important stats in order.

  • Attack Speed
  • Knockback
  • Additional Projectiles
  • Projectile Piercing
  • Projectile Lifetime
  • Health Regeneration

Remember that your stats have caps. Feel free to take overloaded and accumulation when you hit your attack speed cap, for example. Cards that give you HP back such as pyromaniac and revolution are also theoretically helpful, but you really shouldn’t need them.

The End

If you’ve done everything properly, you should be good to go. In my run, the knockback was so effective that I didn’t even take damage once the build was up and running, so the HP gates weren’t even necessary, but with less upgrades or worse talents, you might have a different experience.
