Due to the virus outbreak around the world, many industries have been forced to temporarily stopped working. One of the affected industry is the anime and manga production in Japan. Just like the popular anime by Eiichiro Oda, Ukyo Kodachi’s Boruto: Naruto Next Generations has also been put to hiatus since the outbreak began.
Back in May 2020, there are reports that the production team has resumed the production of the anime series. Now, it seems things are doing well as the latest report suggests that the studio is getting ready for the release of the latest episode of the anime. According to the leaked news, the upcoming Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 155 is expected to release on Sunday, June 28th.
However, there is still no official news from Studio Pierrot about the broadcast resume date of the series. So, what we have to do now is wait for the official statement if the leaked report is true or not. Meanwhile, fans can still enjoy the series as the studio started rebroadcasting the previous episodes of the series since the anime has been postponed.
As for the manga, things are pretty going well as the series keeps on getting new chapter every month. As of writing, the series already got 47 chapters and next month, the author is about to release the Boruto Chapter 48. Things are getting more interesting for the manga as one of the mysterious character’s true identity has been officially revealed. It turns out that the character has a huge role to Naruto in Naruto Shippuden.
