This guide will be covering the steps on how to get the achievement called Despised in Torment: Tides of Numenera. Since this achievement is one of the hardest obtainable achievement in the game, we will be sharing with you the easiest way to get this achievement.
The benefit of this method, in my view, is that it does not require a dedicated playthrough just to achieve this one achievement. In fact, you can do this during a regular playthrough, obviously under certain conditions. In addition, if you have the right save, you can get it in 15 minutes.
Torment: Tides of Numenera Despised Achievement Guide
There are a few requirements to perform this method. Below are the details that you need.
- Get Rhine on the squad, as she can’t be called back after you’re partway with her.
- Add Bronze Sphere in there.
- Have a squad or be able to summon Erritis and Tybir.
- (Optional) Make a dedicated save after entering Bloom so that you can proceed with regular playback after you’re done with this achievement.
I was fortunate enough to have the perfect save for this one in which Erritis loved, Rhin admired, and Tybir liked the main character.
Step 1 – Rhin and Erritis
After an initial sequence in Bloom prepare your team – Rhin, Erritis and Tybir. Next step is to talk with Dragocen to start Tybir’s quest Broken Hearts – say you don’t have time. Then scare Delny and Vrung away from Qianne, so you can talk with her and ask her to sleep there. Decanted shows up, wait a moment until you can speak to him and try to sell Rhin to him, but it’s not going to happen because Erritis is going to interfere. Two done, one more to go. This will be both Erritis (from loved ones in my case) and Rhin (revered), go straight to hated just like that.
Step 2 – Tybir
Now it’s time for Tybir to take care of his quest, fly to Little Nihliesh, and dissolve the mutant dispute as you see fit. Approach Aen-tozon and offer Tybir. Then speak to Crimper to advance Broken Hearts, try to be as unhelpful as you can. Finally, go to the Shrine of Chilla and let Tybir eliminate Ragmin simply by not taking part. In my case, Tybir has hated me, and I obtained the achievement. If for some reason, Tybir still doesn’t hate you, there are maws who need to eat.
