Animal Crossing: New Horizons summer update #1 has just arrived adding new content and activities in the game. The new patch brings new sea creatures and while Animal Crossing: New Horizons already have lots of fishes that usually changed every month, the newly added sea animals are still not part of it. However, once the month of July ended, they will be added to the usual seasonal animals in New Horizons.

But how can you get these new sea creatures? You can catch these new animals in the sea by diving. To find the newly added sea creates, players need to swim in the sea and search for the bubbles popping around. Follow these bubbles and it will lead you to the sea creatures under the water. Diving into the water will startle the shadow and will attempt to escape. Just catch your breath and dive again until you managed to catch the unknown sea creature.
One of the newly added sea creatures in the summer update is called the Vampire Squid, a rare animal appearing in the ocean. Vampire squid will be available during its debut and will join the list of seasonal animals appearing during the month of May, June, July, and August. In order to catch a vampire squid, players need to update their Animal Crossing: New Horizons version to version 1.3.0. Once you already got the latest update, just jump into the sea and start diving. Note that vampire squid is a rare animal, which means that you need to dive and encounter other creatures before actually catching one.
