Cyberpunk 2077’s Wall-Running Feature Removed, CD Projekt Red Confirmed

Wall-running is one of the most fascinating features that I have ever seen in video games. It all started when I played Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia back in 2010. Since then, I really enjoyed any game with the same feature. In fact, I’m all hyped when I heard the news that Cyberpunk 2077 will be having the wall-running feature. Who doesn’t want that, right?

Unfortunately, it seems that there are some changes in Cyberpunk 2077. As we all know, the game is still in development and the developers decided to remove the wall-running feature in the game. But why did they removed it?

According to the CD Projekt Red’s level designer Max Pears, they decided to remove the feature because Cyberpunk 77 offers a lot of flexibility, resulting to the removal of the wall-running feature. While the feature has been removed, Pears guaranteed that the game will still give players more options to move around the world of Northern California.

Cyberpunk 2077 is slated to officially release on November 19th for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Players who buys the game on old consoles will be getting a free upgrade on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.
