WIP, there are still some bugs I have not located yet. (Maybe seasonal, I’m only in Summer year 1. I recommend hoarding bugs if you can to allow you to craft lures and grind essence later. At the very least, definitely collect Leeches because they give different essence than other bugs.
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to add captions to these images, so uh, I’ll just do my best. If anyone knows please comment, I would love to learn and google isn’t helping me here.

Here’s the gathering points that are not for bugs, which you can tell as their sparkle is blue instead of green.

After repairing the town fountain, there is a collection point just south of it. Unlocking the fountain also makes birds more likely to drop feathers.
