Zion Williamson Will Be Missing the 6-8 Weeks of the Regular Season

Following his great performance during his debut in the NBA 2019 pre-season, New Orleans Pelicans announced that the first pick rookie, Zion Williamson, will be out for 6-8 weeks due to the surgery on his right knee.

Zion’s injury was revealed last Thursday following his absence during the match against New York Knicks. According to coach Alvin Gentry, Williamson got his injury during the pre-season match against San Antonio Spurs last October 13th.

In the NBA 2019 pre-season, Williamson already recorded an averaged 23.3 points with 71.4% shooting and 6.5 rebounds.

Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, and the New Orleans Pelicans will be facing Kyle Lowry, Pascal Siakam, and the Toronto Raptors on October 22, 2019, which is also one of the opening match of the NBA 2019 regular season.
