When I was starting Torchlight 2, I always wondered what pet transformations there were and the exact effects of the spells in the game. Particularly for the spells, there was a risk involved with deciding which ones to use, since once they are used, you could not sell them for Gold.
This guide will cover all different pet transformations and their effects, as well as those of spells. This is a work in progress, so the previous sentence can be taken as false advertising. I will complete it. Eventually.
Transformative Fish
Jackal Bass
Transform into Jackalbeast for 5 mins, 15 mins or permanently
Increases the following pet attributes
- +100% poison armor
- +poison damage
Largemouth Bass
Transform into Mimic for 5 mins, 15 mins or permanently
Increases the following pet attributes
- +25% physical armor
- +66% elemental armor
- +50% hp
- +33% base damage

Transform into Warbeast for 5 mins, 15 mins or permanently
Increases the following pet attributes
- +85% base damage
Tunnel Shark
Transform into Molebeast for 5 mins, 15 mins or permanently
Increases the following pet attributes
- +chance to stun
Web Fish
Transform into Spider-man for 5 mins, 15 mins or permanently
Increases the following pet attributes
- +immobilizing web attack
Flying Fish
Transform into Swampflyer for 5 mins, 15 mins or permanently
Increases the following pet attributes
- +grants chance to silence
Crab Egg
Transform into Heavily Armored Crab Warrior for 5 mins, 15 mins or permanently

- +100% physical armor
- +100% elemental armor
Vampiric Spider Egg
