Amnesia: Rebirth is the newest horror video game developed and published by Frictional Games. It is the sequel to the previous Amnesia video game title, Amnesia: The Dark Descent.
Given the fact that this is a horror game, you may find yourself in a situation where you want to save your progress first before continuing. So, how can you save your progress in Amnesia: Rebirth?
How to Save Progress
Unfortunately, Amnesia: Rebirth don’t have any manual save feature in the game. If you’re wondering how the game saves your progress, it is by reaching a checkpoint where the system automatically saves your progress.
This saving method for the games developed by Frictional Games is not a brand new feature as they already implemented this game-saving method on their previous games such as The Dark Descent and SOMA.
If you badly want to save your progress, there’s a little trick that you can use. However, this method will not resume your game on the exact place where you want the game to be saved. Instead, you will be able to resume your game on the nearest checkpoint that you have reached.
To use this method, all you have to do is Save and Exit from the main menu of Amnesia: Rebirth. This semi-manual saving option will only allow you to make 25 saves. Once you reached the limit, the newest save progress that will overwrite the oldest game saves that you have.
