AT&T’s Moto G6 Play Android 9.0 Pie Is Now Available

While Motorola is no longer one of the top smartphone manufacturers in the market, they are constantly giving new updates to their old and current devices. However, due to some issues with the carriers, these updates are usually delayed.

One of these affected devices that are left behind is the AT&T Moto G6 Play which is still not running the latest Android 9.0 Pie.

Now, after a few months of testing Android Pie, AT&T is ready to release Android 9.0 Pie to Moto G6 Play. As of writing, the Moto G6 Play Android 9.0 update is now live, but in case you haven’t received any notification yet, you can check the update from your settings menu.

The Moto G6 Play Android Pie update includes the current security patch, September Android 9.0 patch. In addition, they also revealed that the upcoming Moto G6 Play Android 9.0 Pie update will require approximate 1.12 GB of storage.

Having that said, make sure to free up some space on your device to get this new update. It is also recommended to have a fully charged device when updating your Moto G6 Play.
