Borderlands 3 Crossplay Support Not Coming to PS4 and PS5
The upcoming crossplay feature update for Borderlands 3 is coming really soon, however, PlayStation owners will still not be able to experience this feature.
According to the official Randy Pitchford, the CEO of Gearbox, Sony asked them to remove the crossplay support on their consoles. This only means that both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 will not be able to have fun with other platforms.
“Good news or bad news first? Good News: An update for Borderlands 3 has been prepared for release that includes full crossplay support across all platforms. Bad News: For certification, we have been required by the publisher to remove crossplay support for PlayStation consoles”, Randy Pitchford posted on Twitter.
The release date of the crossplay support for Borderlands 3 is yet to be revealed, and while both PC and Xbox users are excited to play with each other, PlayStation users will still be contained in their environment.
