Mitsuki Arc in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is quite long but has an interesting story that are slowly empowering the development of the characters. Now that we’re getting close to Episode 86, I can sense that we’re about to see the climax of the Mitsuki arc.
The previous episode shows more of Onoki, which did not get much attention during the Naruto season. Apart from that, Episode 85 finally shows Konohamaru joining the fight.
Boruto Episode 86 Spoilers
The next episode will have a title of Kozuchi’s Will. In my opinion, the story will focus on Onoki, Kozuchi, and Boruto. Unfortunately, Kozuchi is also similar to Akuta. We will see the backstory of how Onoki decides to make Kozuchi.
Kozuchi was the grandson of Onoki who died during the war. As mentioned in the previous episodes, Onoki creates the Akuta to use them when a war erupts and to save children. However, it seems like Kozuchi is going to make a bad move which Onoki will regret.
In the preview of Episode 86, we will be seeing Akuta moving freely and are being feared by the people of the Iwagakure. In addition, Onoki will bring Boruto in a certain place in Iwagakure.
