ChronoBreach Ultra Achievements Walkthrough Guide

This guide will help you get every achievement and make it easier along the way, along with some general gameplay tips.

Chapter Achievements

These achievements will unlock if you just play the game but chapters 3 and 4 can be hard, so I’d still recommend reading this section if you’re struggling or need guidance.

Boot Sequence
Complete Chapter 1

You complete this achievement by beating the first chapter, should be fairly easy as it serves mostly as a tutorial. You can cheese the first boss by staying up top where you come in from, just stay back and use your time stops to get lots of damage on it. Use your rocket launcher.

Resistance
Complete Chapter 2

You complete this achievement by beating the second chapter, should be somewhat easy as long as you use your abilities correctly and avoid enemies at the right times. If you’re having trouble killing the boss it’s because you have to attack the hydraulic press from the top (the thing with the little red button on it) in order to do damage to it. Remember to use time stops here too.

Descent
Complete Chapter 3

You complete this achievement by beating the third chapter, this one’s a little harder especially with the last part before the boss but as a warning you need to kill all the enemies on your way there to open doors, try and do it in a timely manner. You will likely have to retry this a couple of times, as for the boss i recommend when he’s beginning to shoot in a pattern with his bullets to stay up high, and when he’s shooting with his rockets in a pattern stay down low.

Out of Time
Complete Chapter 4

You complete this achievement by beating the fourth chapter, this one can be really hard or even impossible depending on your situation. If you’re in the situation where when everything’s red and you get killed by the lasers when time is stopped, you’re basically screwed. It’s either up to RNG or sometimes when you use your time slows it can prevent the lasers from hurting you, although I’ve personally had very little success with this method but it’s probably possible. If you’re in the situation where when the room is red and you aren’t killed by the lasers instantly, then you just have to move in the direction away from where all the lasers are aiming. It’s also recommended to have a stronger weapon with you while you do this boss, it certainly helps and will make this achievement less painless.

Enemy Achievements

All of these achievements can be acquired overtime and don’t need much description, although if you want an “easier” way of doing this then you can go play arena and try and knock out some of those achievements while you’re at it too.

Enemy Destroyer
Defeat 25 Total Enemies

Enemy Demolisher
Defeat 50 Total Enemies

Enemy Exterminator
Defeat 100 Total Enemies

Enemy Eradicator
Defeat 150 Total Enemies

Enemy Annihilator
Defeat 300 Total Enemies

You’ll likely have all these achievements by Chapter 4, if not 3 or 2.

Arena Achievements

These achievements can be tough, but they’re fairly challenging to get and shouldn’t take too long.

Arena Newbie
Play Arena Mode

This achievement should pop by just playing, but if not just play the first round and it’ll pop.

Arena Challenger
Reach Wave 10 in Arena Mode

This achievement can be hard to obtain but not too challenging as long as you don’t get hurt too much, keep in mind that the only way of gaining any health is by killing the enemies then going to the top and collecting as many circuits as possible.

Arena Champion
Reach Wave 20 in Arena Mode

This achievement can be really challenging, and I’d recommend saving it until you’ve received 1,000 circuits, but if you have that achievement done already then the key to getting this achievement is just skill and having overly powered weapons, I personally recommend the Laser Minigun for 500 circuits and the LaserSword for 200 circuits, they’re both great damage dealers.

Circuit Achievements

All of these achievements can be acquired overtime and don’t need much description, although if you want a decent circuit farm then I recommend Lordacris Gaming’s 100% Achievement Guide:
(This is for consoles though so his guide won’t help you get every achievement on the steam version.)

Circuit Grabber
Collect 50 Total Circuits

Circuit Collector
Collect 100 Total Circuits

Circuit Fanatic
Collect 250 Total Circuits

Circuit Master
Collect 500 Total Circuits

Circuit Hoarder
Collect 1000 Total Circuits

Purchasing Achievements

Save these achievements for later until you’ve completed the circuit achievements, then you can knock these out of the way.

Armament Apprentice
Purchase a Weapon

The first weapon you should purchase should be the LaserSword for 200 or the LaserMinigun for 500, after you’ve purchased both of those though then you can knock out the other two achievements.

Armament Enthusiast
Purchase 3 Weapons

After you’ve purchased your two weapons, purchase the BurstRifle for 150.

Armament Expert
Purchase 5 Weapons

After you’ve purchased your three weapons, you then want to purchase the GrenadeLauncher for 200, then the Boomerang for 300. You should have every single one of the weapon purchase achievements now.

Robot Outfitter
Purchase a Skin

Robot Equipper
Purchase 3 Skins

Robot Enhancer
Purchase 5 Skins

Purchase every skin, which accumulates to 475 circuits total.

Closing

With that all said and done, happy hunting! I’m not gonna beg for steam points but if you wish to give me some then I appreciate it. Hope you all enjoy the game and achievement hunting it as much as I did! And if given the chance, although it has no achievements I’d recommend playing the first ChronoBreach already if you haven’t, it’s quite short and it’s nice to see how this game started out.
