Cyberpunk 2077 Marked as Defective by GameStop

CD Projekt Red’s most anticipated video game of the year, Cyberpunk 2077, surely hit the rock bottom. With the poor launch of the game on almost all platforms, especially on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, many game retailers have been offering a refund.

While some video game retailers are filing a lawsuit against the Cyberpunk 2077 developer, GameStop has a different move. Instead of similar action, GameStop has reportedly marked the game as a defective product and players who have bought the game on their store can now return the game.

The news hasn’t been officially confirmed by GameStop, but according to the details that Kotaku gathered, the store will now be handling return and refund requests. Knowing that the just launched a few weeks ago, it’s unfortunate to see that this masterpiece has turned into trash.

GameStop is not the only store offering a full refund for the product. In case you’re not aware, Sony has also pulled out Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation store and also offering a full refund for the product.

While the developer promised that they will be releasing an update to fix all of the issues of the game, it seems that many players are frustrated with the game.
