Elden Ring – How to Get Bloodhound’s Fang Weapon

One of the biggest contributions to defeating an enemy in Elden Ring is the equipped weapons. There are several note-worthy weapons out there and of these weapons is the Bloodhound’s Fang. With the stats and extra bonuses of this weapon, you surely don’t want to miss it. So in this guide, we’ll show you how to get Bloodhound’s Fang in Elden Ring.

How to Get Bloodhound’s Fang

Bloodhound’s Fang is a reward after you defeat Bloodhound Knight Darriwil. First, you need to go to Forlorn Hound Evergoal in Limgrave. You need to enter the fighting stadium and defeat Bloodhound Knight Darriwil.

This boss is pretty difficult and moves sort of similar to dancer from Dark Souls 3. He does, however, have a critical moment of vulnerability that you can take advantage of. This happens when Bloodhound Knight Darriwil begins dragging a claw on the ground while rushing towards you followed by uppercutting into the air before slamming back down again.

Just right as he uppercuts, dodge to the right. Make sure that your equipment load is medium or less so you don’t heavy roll then keep strafing to the right to dodge his downward attack. The moment his attack lands on the ground, you’ll have enough time to attack.

There are still several attacks that you can perform against Bloodhound Knight Darriwil but your main dealing damage will probably come from taking advantage of his uppercut maneuver. Once you defeated the enemy, you will be rewarded with a sum of ruins and the Bloodhound’s Fang.

Bloodhound’s Fang is undoubtedly a good choice of weapon to equip as you progress in the game. If you already got this weapon in the game, we recommend that you partner it with the Bloodhound’s Step, which is a useful skill to avoid incoming attacks.
