Following the renewal of the franchise, Netflix officially confirmed that the Kingdom’s second season will be having the same number of episodes as the previous season. La primera temporada obtuvo un total de 6 episodios, which means the second season will also be having the same number with almost the same runtime.

Apart from the characters who died in the previous season, Temporada del Reino 2 will still casted by the same characters. Ju Ji-Hoon, Bae Doo-Na, Ryoo Seung-Ryong, Kim Hye-Jun, Kim Sang-Ho, and more will still appear in the show. In addition to the current cast, Jun Ji Hyun and Kim Jong-Soo will join the roster.
