Fortnite Battle Royale Latest News & Updates: Patch v2.2.0 Map Need A Quick Glitch Fix

Earlier this week, Epic Games released a new and updated version of Fortnite Battle Royale featuring the fresh and new map, gameplay performance improvement and more. However, it seems like the developer missed some important glitch that affects some of the game’s textures.

Junk Junction Crane Glitch Found

This glitch was found in the new Junk Junction area where there should be large crane collision. Since there is no collision happening in that area, players can pass through the crane until they can be fully covered by the vehicle.

As a result, players can go inside the crane without losing visibility where they can hide without being noticed. Fortunately, the crane is inside of a closed area and with Fortnite’s mode, players are forced to keep on moving forward. If this is not the case, this will become a big issue.

Luckily, Fortnite’s developer acknowledges this glitch and promised to release a solution in the next update. Fortnite Battle Royale usually gets a new update every week, meaning, this glitch will be gone in the next few days.

Letting players know and be familiar with this crane glitch is important, so they can take measurements or avoid if someone is using the crane to hide. GameSpot stated that Lead Level Designer David Spalinski acknowledge this concern and told in the report that he forgot to fix the glitch before releasing the update.

Aside from this issue, it seems like the new update went well as expected. Kotaku wrote that this new game meta and new map brings a lot of excitement to many players. According to them, the new update also brings more players in the game which results of having the game a total of 40 million downloads.
