Niantic and The Pokemon Company has announced that a special Nidoking Raid Boss will be appearing in Japan on February 26th to March 11, 2018. The special Nodiking will be part of the Team Rainbow Rocket’s takeover of Pokemon Stores and Pokemon Centers in Japan.
During the limited time special raid event, Pokemon GO fans will be able to fight the Team Rocket Boss Giovanni’s Nidoking. But don’t take it granted, the Nodiking that will be appearing in Japan will be stronger and powerful!
As usual, trainers will have to work together to beat Giovanni’s Nidoking. Those who managed to defeat and capture this Nidoking will receive a special Pokemon GO Nidoking Sticker from the employees at the Pokemon Center.
Here is the announced schedule for the Nidoking Raid in Japan:
- Campaign Duration – February 26, 2018 to March 11, 2018
- Giovanni’s Nidoking Raid Battle Starting Time – Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays)
- 4:00 pm
- 5:30 pm
- 7:00 pm
- On Saturday, Sunday, and Public Holidays
- 11:00 am
- 12:30 pm
- 2:00 pm
- 3:30 pm
- 5:00 pm
In order to participate the special Nidoking Raid, your trainer character level should be level 5 and above and you also need a Raid Pass or Premium Raid Pass.
