Players who have purchased the Early Access version of Starship Troopers Extermination have raised concerns about disruptive and unpleasant experiences in voice chats with their teammates. Complaints posted on the game’s Steam discussion forum include players being excessively loud, engaging in annoying screaming, or breathing heavily into their microphones. In light of these issues, we sought to determine if muting players in Starship Troopers Extermination is possible, and indeed, it is.
How to Disable Voice Chat
The simplest option to mute your teammates is to disable the voice chat feature in the game’s audio settings. By doing so, you will automatically mute all of your teammates, allowing you to play the game without engaging in any communication if you prefer.
However, if you still wish to communicate with specific teammates while ignoring the disruptive ones, the voice chat option can be quite valuable. It enables better coordination and gameplay in a multiplayer co-op setting. To address the issue of annoying players, you can press the “Z” key on your keyboard to access the scoreboard menu. Within this menu, you will find a volume icon on the left side. Clicking on this icon will allow you to individually mute players whom you find bothersome while still maintaining communication with more considerate teammates.
