Inventory size is one of the most important things that you need to regularly upgrade in Coral Island. Having a bigger inventory means you carry a lot more things throughout the island. In Coral Island, there are two ways how you can store items: using your bag or chest. In this guide, we will walk you through the steps on how to increase your inventory storage.
How to Increase Inventory Size in Coral Island
Let’s start with your bag. By default, you can only carry a total of five items in your backpack. However, upgrading it will give you more storage. To upgrade your backpack and toolbelt, you need to go to Sam’s General Store. Sam’s General Store is open starting from 09:00 until 17:00.
Once you get there, go to the counter and select the Shop option. Next, select the Upgrade Bag option. The first inventory upgrade will cost you a total of 500 coins, which increases your total storage to 20. Obviously, your next upgrade will cost you more coins, so you better make some good money before upgrading.
Another way to expand your inventory size is by crafting a Makeshift Chest. To craft the basic Makeshift Chest, you need a total of x25 wood and x10 trash. Once you have the needed materials, open your Crafting tool and select the Makeshift Chest to craft it.
After crafting the chest, place the Makeshift Chest in your Backpack. From there, you can place the chest on the ground where you can put all of your stuff. You can also rename the chest so that you can easily categorize or manage its contents. The makeshift chest can store up to 20 objects. However, you can carry the chest around the map.
