This is the Replicator, a item awarded to you for finishing a level. It’ll spawn items that you get from completing achievements. From ladders to guns and explosives, it’s a pretty useful item. And if you can’t keep your grubby hands off of it, you can delete your save in the carnival’s photo-booth.
