Capcom has just rolled out the latest MHW update 14.00 which marks the addition of new monsters in the wild. One of the monsters that have been added is the Frostfang Barioth and if you’re planning to hunt it down, you should hurry and start tracking it. But why should you hunt it now and not later?
Well, it turns out the Frostfang Barioth is only available for a limited time. According to the Monster Hunter World version 14.00 patch notes, you can only hunt this monster in a limited-time event quest. Forstfang Barioth will be a tempered monster, which is why you should really start hunting it.
Frostfang Barioth will be available starting on August 7, 2020, from the limited-time quest called “The Last White Knight”. This fearless monster will leave the world on August 19, 2020.
Unlike the normal Barioth, the Frostfang Barioth will be more deadly as its attack can freeze the ground and your character. When you fight Frostfang Barioth, it is highly recommended to use and bring fire-based weapons and equip an ice proof mantle.
It is also advisable to equip skills such as the health boost to increase survivability, ice resistance to increase resistance against ice attacks, partbreaker to easily break Frostfang Barioth breakable parts, and earplug to avoid being stunned by the monster’s roar.
