My Hero Academia Chapter 271 Recap

Following the fight between Hawks and Dabi, Tsukuyomi spotted his mentor in a dangerous situation. Tsukuyomi decides to jump out of Fat Gum’s body and charged it towards the number 2 hero. Tsukoyumi found Hawks in a bad state while Dabi seems to be unharmed. Knowing that his mentor is defeated and he still needs to keep him safe, Tsukuyomi decides to escape.

As Tsukuyomi lands on another floor while carrying Hawks, Dabi jumps down trying to attack them with his fire. But thanks to the huge ice wall created by Geten which distracts the enemy allowing Tsukuyumi to fly and escape with hawks.

At the same time, Fat Gum reaches the villa and witnessed how Mt. Lady got blown away by Geten’s attack. Geten shows up and shouts that he will never let anyone pass and disrupt Re-Destro. Dabi, on the other hand, recognized Geten’s power and turns his attention away from Hawks and Tsukuyomi.

In the underground, Re-Destroy was seen yelling about his spare legs and at the same time, one of his subordinates told him that Gigantomachia started to move. Before the chapter ends, Gigantomachia got the final highlight while saying that he picked up his master’s scent.

My Hero Academia Chapter 272 Spoilers and Discussions

With the cliffhanger scene in the previous chapter, it seems that All for One’s former bodyguard Gigantomachia will be finally making his move. As we know, Shigaraki seems to be awake in the last spread of Chapter 270 and with his new power, Gigantomachia also sensed it.

There’s a chance that the upcoming chapter will feature Shigaraki’s return and he may finally join the battle. In the previous chapter, we have also seen Deku acknowledged that Shigaraki is awake which is why he might also make his move to reach where Tomura is. At the same time, Gigantomachia will also jump out and start searching for his master.

I believe that Chapter 727 will be a bloody chapter for the heroes as they face the revamped power of the main villain of the series. What do you think will happen in the next chapter? Make sure to tell us your theories and opinions in the comments below.
