Spooky greetings everyone, are you ready for the Halloween 2023 Evenement? Nee? We zullen, in deze gids, I will show you where to find all recipe cards on the relevant maps and how to brew your unwholesome concoction. Theres XX hidden recipe cards need to be found on [number] kaarten.
This guide is a slight WIP. It’ll likely have the first few cards revealed then worked on hourly till it is complete, so bear with and check back often, proost.
Invoering
Welcome back to another guide! For this annual Halloween event, find multiple recipe cards scattered across the maps and brew a potion in Maple Lodge Campsite.
Er zijn 9 cards you can find throughout: Tangle, Edgefield, Rdiegview, Grafton, Wilg, Bleasdale, Prison, Maple Lodge and Camp Woodwind. If you felt like you may have missed a couple (having terrible memory like me), you can check the map board to track where cards have already been found. Find all the cards and create the potion at the cauldron inside Maple Lodge before the 1st of November, and you’ll complete this event.
The tick indicates that the challenge is completed for that map.
Setting Up
This event is pretty straightforward (no Undead Santa or Easter Bunny of Caerbannog chasing us, thankfully.) I would recommend a custom difficulty with infinite sprint and friendly ghost enabled. Load up one of the maps with the Pumpkin icon on the maps of your preferred difficulty and equipment, follow the guide and correctly guess the ghost to complete that map. The event doesn’t contain prerequisite or extra steps for us too follow, a simple find the card and go back to the van.

Don’t forget that you can press ALT and Tab to bring up the steam overlay and this guide mid-game. This might be easier than having to pause a Youtube video on your phone or another tab.
Collecting the Recipe Cards
When you’re playing with a group, each member of your team will need to pick up and look at the card for it to be ticked off on the board.
Tanglewood Drive
The first card on the list is in Tanglewood Drive. Go into the house as you normally would, enter the kitchen and underneath the foot-rest is a pumkin. Inside the mouth is the recipe card. Once you got this, you can leave via the van.
Edgefield Road
The next card is located insidethe Boys Bedroom. Head up the stairs and follow the hallway around the corner and the second room on the right is the room you’re looking for. It’s the one with the blue walls. By the right hand side of the desk is a pumpkin with the next recipe card.
Ridgeview Court
Onto (f)fridgeview. This one is a bit tricky and easy to miss. Head down into the basement and take a left. The pumpkin is on one of the metal shelves rather inconspicuously, you might not see it till you face the wall where you enter.
Grafton Farmhouse
This is an easy one thankfully. Head round the building to the right, or the left, heck even through the house if you’re adventurous, and you should be able to spot the glow of the Pumpkin in a parch of other normal ones.
Willow Street
Another sneaky one, Do a whole loop of the house, starting with the basement, then the garage and kitchen, step outside and then notice the Pumpkin is in actuality by the Post (Letterbox) as you leave the van.
Bleasedale Farmhouse
Head into the building, go up the first flight of stairs, follow the hallway till you reach the attic stairs, and head up those. Once you’re up here, turn right and there is some cardboard boxes, behind those is your pumpkin with the recipe card.
Prison
Trust me this one is a pain. So enter the prison and continue down the hallway. Unlock the jail door to your left and go through it, on your immediate left/in-front is a room called “Central Control Unit.” Head in there and on the back left of the room is a Pumpkin and recipe card in its mouth.
Camp Woodwind
Head through the gates, Loop the campfire twice, Hurken 3 times and then turn back to the gate, your silly dance may have spawned the Pumpkin and recipe behind the pole, by the fence on right. Or left as you enter if you don’t have a sense of humour.
Maple Lodge Campsite
Easiest one to find, as you enter the camp (it’s very posh now) head left towards the campfire/cauldron and around it on the log seating is the pumpkin and recipe card. You can go straight into making the cauldron if you like.
Making Your Concoction
The Cauldron
Once you have collected all your cards, or skipped to this point, head back to Maple Lodge. You will need to find and throw the ingredients into the cauldron in any order. WAARSCHUWING: Adding a wrong ingredient will ruin the potion, you will need to leave and try again.
Ingrediënten 1 & 2
Beginnen, enter the lodge and go straight to the Lobby. Here you will find two of the required ingredients. On the left, on a coffee table is a brain in a jar (Jar of mind) and on the computer is a frog plush/voodoo doll (Toe of frog.) Take both of these and drop them by the campfire for later.
Ingredient 3
Head back the way you came and into the staff area via the door ahead. As you continue you can hear some flies, on the ground is a box with rotten apples. Je zal nodig hebben 3 of these. Drop your flashlight for now and grab all 3 for the pile.
Ingredient 4 & 5
Follow through the staff area to enter Campsite B. From here you can make your way to the cabin. Don’t enter yet, on the side by the lakeside is a skeleton couple, one of them has a flower (Lover’s Blossom). Head into the cabin using the key under the matt, aan de linkerzijde, thr kitchen counter/worktop has a bowl of teeth. Grab both the bowl and flower and head right on the way back.
Ingredient 6
In campsite B, there is a campfire by the tents. On one of the log seats there is a skull, drop your flashlight and bring the 3 ingredients to the cauldron pile.
Ingredient 7 & 8
The last few ingredients are close I promise. You might think the potion calls for 3 cans of beans (Sack of Beans), but it actually requires Bean Bags (also called hackey sacks) that can be found in the equipment tent in front of the cauldron. While you’re there, collect the two eyes in the Campsite A bathroom Sink.
Ingredient 9
The last Ingredient has been in your heart and hands this whole time: your torch. You might need to grab another from the van.
Once you’re ready throw in all of the ingredients, in any order you like. Make sure you don’t add too much of anything or miss an ingredient!
Once you added all the ingredients the potion will bubble and release souls into the skies! Zodra dit is gedaan, the whole map will be tinted red,spoooky. Leave to unlock your rewards.
