While Niantic has been doing their best to cope with the global virus outbreak, it seems that Pokemon GO players using Samsung S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra will not be experiencing all the new features in the game.
Why? Due to some unknown error, Samsung S20 series owners have been reporting that Pokemon GO keeps on crashing on their device. This issue has already been reported to Niantic and they are finally making some adjustments to fix the issue.

It’s been more than a week since the issue has been reported but it seems that there is still no solution to fix the Pokemon GO game freeze and crashes. Meanwhile, users are sharing their frustration on Twitter and also bombarding Pokemon GO’s Google Play Store page with negative feedback.

But the game still freezes on my new 1.300€ Samsung galaxy S20 ultra 5G.
I'm not even angry anymore, just sad about your attitude. Since 3 weeks there is nothing from your side about that problem.

Maybe do a report on the fact that Pokemon go hasn't worked on Samsung S20 devices for four weeks with the only update coming from @NianticHelp that it's "Being investigated"

Any solution for this issue? Unfortunately, Samsung Galaxy S20 series owners need to be more patient until the developer releases a new patch for the app.
