Pokemon GO Halloween Event 2019 Start Time and Features Announced

Niantic has finally announced the return of the most awaited Pokemon GO Halloween Event featuring spooky in-game bonuses.

The Pokemon GO Halloween Event 2019 will begin on October 17th until November 1, 2019. The event features a lot of activities such as rescuing shadow Pokemon, avatar items, spawn rate increase and more.

Starting on October 17th, Pokemon GO players will Rescue Shadow Pokemon including Weedle, Kakuna, Beedrill, Electabuzz, Magmar, Lapras, Mareep, Seedot, Nuzleaf, Sableye, Trapinch, Cacnea, Shuppet, and Duskul from Team GO Rocket Grunts at PokeStops near you.

Pokemon GO Team GO Rocket Research Task

There will be new spooky avatar cosmetics items available in the Style Shop like Zubat Bag, a Pikachu Onesie, a Cubone Cap, a Litwick Cap, and a Mimikyu Bag.

Apart from the features mentioned above, players will also be able to encounter more Ghost and Dark-type Pokemon in the wild, eggs, and Raids. The Halloween Event also marks the release of the Spirit Pokemon, Yamask, along with its shiny form.

Previously, Pikachu is the only Pokemon who got the Halloween costume. Now, Pokemon GO revealed that Bulbasaur wearing Shedinja costumes, Charmander wearing Cubone costumes, and Squirtle wearing Yamask costumes will be available in raid battles. Also, Pikachu will have another Halloween costume this season as you will be seeing it wearing a Mimikyu costume. Shiny Pokemon with Halloween costumes will also be available during the event.

Pokemon GO Darkrai

An exclusive and limited-time Field Research Tasks will also available. Once you have completed the Research Tasks, you will receive a spooky message and you might face a Forbidden Pokemon.
