In addition to the current list of Eeveelutions, Niantic has officially added Leafeon and Glaceon in Pokemon GO. That being said, Pokemon GO players now have more option to evolve Eevee in the game.
The newly added Eeveelutions is a grass-type and ice-type Pokemon. Similar to the other evolutions, Leafeon and Glaceon also have their unique characteristics. While Niantic is currently implementing a proper way on how to evolve Eevee into Leafeon and Glaceon by using the lures, there’s also a way to force evolve Eevee into this evolutions.
How To Force Evolve Eevee Into Leafeon and Glaceon
Since the release of Pokemon GO, trainers have found alternative ways to force evolve Eevee into a specific evolution. That’s what we called evolution name trick which only applies on selected Pokemon in the game.
Similar to the previous name trick, players can only use this method once. After using the Eevee name trick evolution, players now need to rely on how to properly evolve Eevee into Leafeon and Glaceon.
Now, to evolve Eevee into Leafeon, players need to rename it to Linnea. For the Glaceon name trick, change its nickname to Rea and you’re set to go. After renaming Eevee into their assigned nickname, the question mark that you are seeing in the screen will change into the Eeveelution’s silhouette which guarantees that the name trick will work.
