Red Dead Redemption 2 Strange Statues Puzzle

Red Dead Redemption 2: The Hidden Strange Statues Location and Puzzle Solution

One thing I love most in Red Dead Redemption 2 is the hidden quests like finding the Strange Statues. Finding the location of the Strange Statues is not difficult, what makes this mission challenging is the puzzle that you need to solve.

If you still have no idea where to start this Strange Statues hunting and to solve the puzzle after finding it, here’s a guide to help you finish this mission. Solving the Strange Statues puzzle will reward you three gold bars that can be sold at Fencer for $500 each.

Strange Statues Location

Finding the Strange Statues is much easier than solving the puzzle. It is located on the East part of Donner Falls and North-East of Baccus Station.

Find the pine tree between the big white rocks. That tree will serve as a marking for the small cave entrance in the white rocks.

Its location is not too far from the road. Just enter the cave, and you’ll see the Strange Statues.  Interact with the statue in the middle and Arthur will start to draw the statues his journal.

Solving The Strange Statues Puzzle

Before you start solving the Strange Statues puzzle, first you need to find the cave painting in a cave at Window Rock, just north-west of Cumberland Forest.

Reach the painting location, and you’ll see a figure of men standing around an eagle. Each figure has an eagle next to them with a specific number of tail feathers. The tail feathers come in this order 2, 7, 5, 8, 3, 4, and 6.

Now, head back to the location of Strange Statues. To solve the Strange Statues puzzle, you need to push the buttons on the statues with prime numbers and in order. So pressing 2, 3, 5, and 7 will solve the puzzle and you can now grab the three gold bars in the middle pedestal.

If you’re still confused how this puzzle is done, here’s a video from HarryNinetyFour to help you out.

That’s it! Head back to the town and find the Fencers to sell your gold bars. Three gold bars is equivalent to $1,500. That’s easy cash for you.
