Scarlet Nexus – Everything You Need to Know About the Game and Anime

With the release of its JRPG and the anime that complements its story, the next few weeks are crucial for the Scarlet Nexus franchise, and we’ll tell you everything you need to know right here.

Bandai Namco promised us a futuristic title that depicts the highs and lows of humanity’s technological advancement when people were granted superhuman abilities after discovering the psionic hormone.

As we all know, “great power comes with great responsibility,” and users of psionic hormones quickly discover that they have fallen prey to mutants known as “others” who have a voracious appetite for their brains.

At a critical juncture in the battle, humanity discovers that there are humans with greater power, known as Psionics, who serves as the first line of defense for the ‘Force of Suppression of the Others.’

This is where the game begins, with you having a choice between Yuito Sumeragi, an energetic recruit from a prestigious political family, and Kasane Randall, the mysterious explorer whose power and skill have gained widespread acclaim among the FSO.

Scarlet Nexus Game

When it comes to titles available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, there are several options that the game provides when starting the mission, one of which is its battles.

Endowed with psychic abilities, your character will be able to manipulate objects, lift, break, and throw them in order to win each battle against massive creatures.

As if that weren’t enough, the stage offers a glimpse of futuristic Japan that many have imagined, as well as the opportunity to enjoy not one, but two stories.

Both Sumeragi and Randall have a destiny that is intertwined, but the only way to reveal their entire past is to play the game with each of them twice, giving them a full experience of the game each time.

If you’re still undecided about pre-purchasing the game with free bonuses like skins and accessories, try the demo available for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.

Scarlet Nexus Anime

When it comes to the anime that will accompany Scarlet Nexus, no one could have done a better job than Sunrise, the same studio that handled ‘Hanyou no Yashahime: Sengoku Otogizoushi.’

The series is set to premiere in Japan in the summer of 2021, which is ideal timing given that the game will go on sale globally on June 25.

Funimation will handle its distribution in the West through a simulcast mode, which means that each episode will be available just a few hours after its release in Japan.

The same platform allows you to pre-order physical versions of the Scarlet Nexus video game, an opportunity you should not pass up if you want to be the first to learn about its entire history.
