Skul: The Hero Slayer Patch #7 Released, Full Update Changelog Here

Developer SouthPAW Games has released the newest version of Skul: The Hero Slayer in the latest patch #7.

According to the release notes, the new update aim to address known game issues. In addition, it also includes more in-game and system optimization to improve the overall gaming experience. The developer also mentioned that there will be a plan for adding new content in the next update. For now, below is the full update changelog.

  • Fixed a bug where the Ruby Heart’s effect wasn’t working properly.

  • We’ve optimized the game so that you should be able to play comfortably on lower spec computers from now on!
    1. Vastly improved the performance of the “Light Effect”
      • Lowered the minimum specs needed to use the improved lighting feature.
        • System Memory 16GB+ → 4GB+
        • VRAM 3GB+ → 1GB+
    2. Use this path to improve the lighting [Pause → Settings → Light Effect]Improved performance of the physics engine.
      • This should really lighten the load on your CPU!
    3. Improved speed of map loading.
  • Fixed a bug where the character sometimes got stuck in the wall.
  • Fixed problem where the amount of gathered Dark Quartz displayed on the “Game Over Screen” didn’t reset.

Skul: The Hero Slayer is now available on PC via Steam.
