If you want to play with your friends in Warhammer 40K: Darktide, you can easily do so from within the game. A group of four players who team up to complete a mission is called a strike team. Before starting a game, make sure you have assembled a strike team with your friends. If you don’t have enough friends to make a full team, don’t worry. The game will find other players to fill the remaining spots when matchmaking.
Make sure your friends are online and using the same game platform as you. In the Mourning Star, press the ‘Esc’ key to open the menu. Click on the ‘Socials’ options to access your strike team page. On this menu, you can see your active and inactive friends, as well as other players you have encountered in previous missions or who are currently in the Mourningstar. To invite someone to join your strike team, select their name and click on ‘Invite.’ They will need to accept your invitation on the ‘Invites’ page, and then they will join your lobby.
Once your strike team is full, you can start a mission and begin wreaking havoc together. Happy hunting!
