Brief instructions on where and how to obtain all 24 collectible scrolls in Chicken Journey. Warning: guide may contain spoilers! I will be very grateful for corrections and additions!
Scroll 1
This scroll can be found in the Chicken Village, to the right of the mill.
Scroll 2
This scroll is located in the Inn behind the curtains.
Scroll 3
Scroll 3 is in the well – go to the right after entering the well, and you will easily see it.
Scroll 4
This scroll is also in the well. At some point you will need to peck the rope to drop the box. Jump off the ladder to the left and go till the end. The scroll is hidden in the walls (you can see it by slight sparkling).
Scroll 5
This scroll is in the Garden. Don`t miss these leaves and jump on them.
Scroll 6
In the Garden, after passing the corridor with tentacles, jump on the ladder. You will find the workaround and the 6th scroll.
Scroll 7
To gain access to this scroll, you have to get the ability of strong pecking first. After meeting Johnny and returning to the start of the Garden, you can go to the right again and remove the soil. The scroll is behind it.
Scroll 8
At some point you will need to enter the engine room and replace the gear. The engine room is to the right of the elevator, and the scroll is to the left.
Scroll 9
To collect this scroll, you will need to use the left elevator near the Lab and play a melody on the statues. Numbering the statues from left to right, the melody is: 2-4-2-1-3-4-2.
Scroll 10
This scroll is behind the right stream of water in front of the Frog Palace.
Scroll 11
This scroll is hidden on the first floor of the Water Temple. After entering the level through the right door, go to the right. You will quickly find the location shown in the screenshot.
Jump down carefully, then down the ladder and peck the soil.
Scroll 12
This scroll is on the second floor of the Water Temple. Use the silver bar to get on these platforms (you will need to open an additional passage below first).
Scroll 13
This scroll is hidden on the third floor of the Water Temple. Don`t miss this ladder after jumping between moving gears. You can find there not only a scroll, but also a checkpoint.
Scroll 14
After helping Johnny in the Swamp jump down into the cave and peck the soil.
Scroll 15
You definitely won`t miss this place while exploring the Swamps. I highly recommend you remove all the soil – you will find the scroll and the feather washing area.
Scroll 16
This scroll is in the forest village of owls. To get this scroll, press the button on the statue of owl.
Scroll 17
This scroll is in the forest village of squirrels, in the Ruby`s house (the house filled with nuts).
Scroll 18
This scroll is in the right squirrel house.
Scroll 19
You can find this scroll while going down in the elevator on the way to the Mushroom Cave.
Scroll 20
This scroll is hidden under two red balls in the Mushroom Cave.
Scroll 21
This scroll is hidden behind the wall in the Mushroom Cave.
Scroll 22
You will find this scroll while hiding from a huge snowball (inside the third big step).
Scroll 23
This scroll is in the last room with platforms on the way to the library.
Scroll 24
This scroll is in the Library. You need to enter the room with an apple an go through the black entrance on the right side.
